Fans watched the Outer Banks Aviators and the Toronto Pathfinders fight to the finish.

The Outer Banks Aviators eked out a 3-2 win versus the Toronto Pathfinders at The Lodge. Nobody did more than pitcher Doc Holliday. He was terrific. Toronto drops to 3-2.

Had Speedy McFly Jr. not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 2nd and 3rd, McFly Jr. hit a 2-run single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Aviators.

"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said McFly Jr.. "And not try to do too much."
