Biggus Tittious Smittious, who is tied for 2nd in the Champions in wins with 6, was locked in. The right-hander led the Indianapolis Apex to a 6-4 win against the Seattle Sea Serpents at The Aquadome. The second-place Apex have won 5 straight games.

Indianapolis second baseman Dee Fernandez Jr. contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the sixth. With two down, he hit a cutter to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 38th hit of the season and put the Apex ahead, 6-0.

"We had situations where we should have got some runs in, but we didn't get the runs in," said losing manager .
