The Vancouver Vandals downed the Providence Crabs, 8-3. The hitting star was first baseman McLovin Jr.. McLovin Jr. was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Vandals. Thor Lore, the winner, is now 5-3. He struck out 5 and walked 2 over 5.1 innings, while allowing 2 runs on 4 hits. The Vancouver win streak is now 3 games.
Steven Strange had a big 2-run double for the Vandals in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Vancouver leading 2-1 and the bases loaded, he got a cutter from Count Crabula, who finished 3rd in the Legends in wins with 15 last year, and swatted a double to right.
