San Antonio center fielder Press Duckley Jr. made his presence felt in the 4-2 Sloths triumph over the Buffalo Surge. Duckley Jr. went 2-3 with a home run, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Johnny Tatum, the winning pitcher, improved to 5-4. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 5 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 8 and walking 3. With the win, San Antonio upped its record to 22-17.

Duckley Jr. had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 0-2 fastball from Juicy Jumbo, he banged a 2-run home run to right-center, giving the Sloths a 4-2 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Duckley Jr..
