Von Kriestalhauser Leads Voyagers to 10-5 Win Over Aviators
The New York Voyagers put one in the win column with an opening day 10-5 triumph over the Outer Banks Aviators. The crowd at Vaughn's House watched Kries Von Kriestalhauser put on a fine performance. Bandit Keith picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Doc Holliday suffered the loss.

Isuro Tanaka had a big 2-run double for the Voyagers in the bottom of the second inning. With New York leading 3-2 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a cutter from Doc Holliday, who finished 4th in the Legends in saves with 14 in 2074, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Voyagers ahead, 5-2.

"I'm trying to see the ball big, see the ball up in the zone and put the barrel on it," Von Kriestalhauser told the New York Daily News.
