The home crowd had a good time watching the Death Valley Scorpions and New Orleans Rougarous get after it.

The New Orleans Rougarous picked up a win at Full Moon Stadium, dropping the Death Valley Scorpions, 6-3. Dash Jackson, who is tied for 4th in the Champions in innings pitched with 71.0, was the difference-maker. New Orleans now sits at 22-19, while Death Valley falls to 18-23.

AJ Boucher, who is a two-time Gold Glove Award winner, helped out the New Orleans cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a 2-run home run. For the game, the second baseman was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

Boucher told a New Orleans Observer reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
