The Scorpions grabbed a win, 8-7, at The Aquadome, overcoming a fine effort from Seattle pitcher Mejiro McQueen. McQueen went 7 innings and allowed no runs. Death Valley pitcher M4XX V3L0 got the win. He's now 2-1. Kip Treadwell was tagged with the loss. The save was credited to Bandit Keith, his 5th.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Y'shtola Rhul came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Seattle pitcher Kip Treadwell, he hit a 0-1 splitter for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Death Valley on top, 8-7.

"Winning never gets dull," said Rhul.

With the win, Death Valley upped its record to 24-17.
