The Vancouver Vandals racked up a win at The Treehouse, bumping off the San Antonio Sloths, 5-2. Chuck Nasty, who started for Vancouver, pitched effectively for his team. Alejandro Abasi, who finished 3rd in the Legends in saves with 15 in 2070, nailed down the save. With the win, Vancouver raised its record to 22-19.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Akshay Hrishikesh? The 2069 Rookie of the Year Award winner Hrishikesh stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put Vancouver up, 5-2. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 2 doubles and 1 single.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Nasty said.
