Odin CheekiSon was instrumental in his team's 4-3 triumph over the Death Valley Scorpions. The shortstop went 2-3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs for the Indianapolis Apex. Reliever Takeda Takahashi picked up the win. His record improves to 4-2. Billy TheKid took the loss. Romeo McFlourish recorded his 6th save for Indianapolis.

CheekiSon had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a 2-run double. The Apex went on to win.

After the game, Indianapolis manager applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.

The second-place Apex now have a win-loss record of 21-22.
