The Death Valley Scorpions grabbed a win, 7-6, over the New Orleans Rougarous at Full Moon Stadium. Death Valley center fielder Melo Misteur went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. Death Valley starter Always A. Bummus was credited with the win after throwing 110 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 5-3.

Death Valley shortstop Y'shtola Rhul contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the eighth. With two down, he hit a sinker to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 43rd hit of the season and put the Scorpions ahead, 7-4.
