Starting pitcher Zach Mulder was a major factor in the 7-2 Nashville Stars triumph over the Detroit Demons. Their 24-22 record puts the Stars second in the Champions Conference East.
Nashville used the hitting of Bobby Briggs to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Stars on top, 3-0. For the game, Briggs had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
