The Outer Banks Aviators knocked off the Buffalo Surge, 7-6, in Legends Conference action at The Island. Outer Banks pitcher and Tombstone, Arizona, native Doc Holliday had an outstanding performance. Their 20-27 record puts the Aviators last in the Legends Conference East.

Outer Banks took a 7-6 lead on Curtis Jones's 10th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Jones hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Buffalo pitcher Paj Bobba visibly frustrated.

"You have to trust that what you're doing is going to produce results," said Holliday.
