The Indianapolis Apex topped the Death Valley Scorpions, 6-0, in Champions Conference action at Cari Price Memorial Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Indianapolis pitcher and Brisbane, Australia, native Romeo McFlourish. The Apex improved their record to 29-21 by beating Death Valley.

Indianapolis used the timely hitting of Iesuhc Yttef to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Apex on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Indianapolis manager .
