San Antonio Defeated by Death Valley, 5-4

Death Valley left fielder Stelle helped his team beat the San Antonio Sloths, 5-4. Stelle, who is tied for 7th in the Champions in doubles with 19, went 4 for 4 for the Scorpions. Bandit Keith came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. His record now stands at 2-3. Ray Xavier earned the save, his 6th, for the Scorpions.
With the game tied, 4-4, in the bottom of the seventh, Stelle had a key at-bat for Death Valley. With a runner on 2nd, Stelle hit a run-scoring single off Carlos Krash, making the score 5-4, Scorpions.
"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Stelle.
The win lifted the Death Valley record to 32-20.
