Providence first baseman Grayle Traveler was instrumental in helping the Crabs triumph, 8-2, over the San Antonio Sloths. Traveler went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Providence pitcher Joe Random got the win. He's now 4-4. Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III was tagged with the loss. Randy Colón got the save, the 8th for him this season.

Providence second baseman Migs Mayfeld helped the Crabs go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Mayfeld hit a run-scoring single off San Antonio pitcher William Nilliam.
