The New York Voyagers were defeated, 2-1, by the Toronto Pathfinders at The Lodge, even though Leonidas Longpipe pitched well for New York. "Fire" Aaron Boone earned the save for Toronto. Toronto, with the win, climbs to 18-38.
Toronto took a 2-1 lead on Cameron Squires's 4th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Squires hit in the bottom of the seventh, left New York pitcher Leonidas Longpipe visibly frustrated.
"Every loss hurts," said New York manager . "But this was a tough one."
