The Cancun Toros beat the Detroit Demons, 5-1. Cancun pitcher and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, native Pedro Martini led the way. With the victory, the Toros upped their record to 34-22.

Cancun second baseman Tyler Detherage helped the Toros go up, 3-1, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Detherage hit a 2-run single off Detroit pitcher Goaty McGoatFace.

"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Martini.
