Scottie Stirling was a major factor in the 8-5 Cancun win over Vancouver. The Toros right fielder was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. John Cowgill picked up the win in relief for Cancun, while Darren Clapp took the loss. Roquefort Cotswald finished the game for Cancun and earned his 6th save.

Cancun took a 8-3 lead on Stirling's 14th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Thor Lore in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Cancun to the win.

"I felt good up there," said Stirling. "I saw the ball well."

With this game in the books, Cancun is 38-22, Vancouver 34-26.
