Indianapolis Beats Toronto, 2-0

The Indianapolis Apex topped the Toronto Pathfinders, 2-0, in Champions Conference action at The Brickyard. The game was highlighted by the performance of Indianapolis pitcher Flop Quads. Quads got the win, improving to 10-2. He gave up 3 hits and walked 2 over 6 innings. He allowed no runs. Chih-Wei Lee, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 6th save.
The Apex got a big at-bat from designated hitter Stuart. For the game, Stuart went 1 for 3 with a home run. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 16th home run of the season gave Indianapolis a 1-0 lead.
"When you put in the effort and you get really focused, the results come in ways you're not even expecting," said Apex manager .
Indianapolis has won 7 straight, while Toronto has lost 3 in a row.
