Cancun Toros starter Pedro Martini pitched well against the Providence Crabs at Coliseo Toros, presentado por VINS, leading his team to a win, 5-1. Roquefort Cotswald picked up the save for Cancun, his 4th of the year. Cancun now has a record of 36-27 with the win.

Cancun first baseman Carlton Beaty contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a curveball to center field for a run-scoring single. It was his 69th hit of the season and put the Toros ahead, 2-1.
