Demons Absorb 7-3 Loss at Hammond Park
|
Tommy Callahan was a major factor in the 7-3 Boise win over Detroit. The Raptors third baseman was 2-5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win lifted the Boise record to 35-28.
With Boise leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Callahan hit a knuckle curve from Korrin Abernathy Jr. for a grand slam home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Raptors ahead, 7-2.
"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Callahan.
