Smalls Helps Scorpions Win, 9-5, with Pair of Homers
The Death Valley Scorpions stopped the Cancun Toros, 9-5, at El Coliseo de los Toros. The Scorpions got a big game from Smalls, who hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5. Death Valley pitcher Guy Roussy got the win, upping his record to 9-3. Ryan Lee got the loss. Death Valley has an impressive 44-20 record.

Smalls had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth to put Death Valley in front, 4-0. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run.
