Sea Serpents Suffer One-Run Loss at Death Valley
The Death Valley Scorpions beat the Seattle Sea Serpents, 5-4, at Cari Price Memorial Stadium. Death Valley first baseman Launch Angle had an outstanding performance. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Picking up the save was five-time All-Star Calm Chicken. The win gives the Scorpions a record of 21-43.

Stelle drove in one run for Death Valley. The two-time All-Star had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and a runner on 3rd, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Lilo Pelekai. It was his 42nd RBI of the season.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Angle said.
