Toronto Drops Another One, 12-3
|
The 12-3 San Antonio win over Toronto was due in large part to Stuart. The Sloths first baseman was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Johnny Tatum got the win, improving to 3-6. He pitched 5.1 innings, giving up 4 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 7 and walking 5. Cybernetically Enhanced RoboDibble notched his 9th save of the season.
In the bottom of the third, Stuart had a 2-run home run for San Antonio. It was his 11th home run of the season and put the Sloths on top, 4-2.
"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Stuart told the San Antonio Herald.
The losing skid has reached 8 games for Toronto.
