The Cancun Toros downed the Death Valley Scorpions, 7-2, at El Coliseo de los Toros. The Toros were led by Mengie Brolina. He was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. The Toros bumped their record to 40-26 with this latest triumph.

Cancun took a 5-1 lead on Brolina's 14th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Xavier Pruitt in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Cancun to the win.

"I really like what we did out there today," Brolina said after the game.
