Scorpions Rally For Late Win Over Toros
The Death Valley Scorpions scored a tight, 4-3 win versus the Cancun Toros at Cari Price Memorial Stadium. Death Valley pitcher Femini Nomenon held his own in the contest. The win belonged to Bandit Keith in relief. His record improves to 6-5. Lizzie WOOOOHOOOO took the loss for Cancun. With the win, the Scorpions sit at 42-24.

The decisive blow was delivered by Stelle in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off two-time All-Star Lizzie WOOOOHOOOO to win the game for Death Valley. The home crowd went nuts.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Nomenon said.
