In a tight contest at Coliseo Toros, presentado por VINS, the Cancun Toros edged the Nashville Stars by the score of 8-7 in 10 innings. Cancun catcher Mengie Brolina, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Cancun raised its record to 40-28 with the win.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With no one out, Brolina hit a cutter from Siegmeyer of Catarina for a solo home run. The Toros, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Brolina said.
