Meredith Delivers Walk-Off Win for Toros
The Nashville Stars got a sterling performance from pitcher Mac John, but the Cancun Toros still prevailed, 3-2. John threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball. Cancun reliever Roquefort Cotswald picked up the win, upping his record to 3-4. Siegmeyer of Catarina took the loss. With the win, Cancun raised its record to 41-28.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Cancun left fielder Myles Meredith, facing Siegmeyer of Catarina, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Toros the 3-2 win.

Meredith attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."
