The home crowd had a good time watching the New Orleans Rougarous and Death Valley Scorpions get after it.

Death Valley Scorpions starter Deviver Votto pitched a strong game against the New Orleans Rougarous at Cari Price Memorial Stadium, leading the Scorpions to victory, 2-0. Ray Xavier wrapped it up, recording his 10th save.

Votto gave Death Valley a solid start. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8.1 innings.

"Deviver didn't beat around the bush," said Death Valley field general . "He was all business."

The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Scorpions.
