Toros Stay Hot with Extra-Inning Win
The Toros earned a hard-fought, 4-3 win in 11 innings at Full Moon Stadium. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from New Orleans pitcher Mike Boss III. Boss III went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Roquefort Cotswald, 4-4, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 3.1 innings. The third-place Toros have won 5 in a row.

Cancun took a 4-3 lead on Mengie Brolina's 19th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Brolina hit in the top of the 11th, left New Orleans pitcher Ea Nasir visibly frustrated.

"I still think this team can play even better," Brolina told the Cancun Observer.
