Reeves scores 3 runs to Light Scorpions Fuse
The Death Valley Scorpions welcomed the New Orleans Rougarous to an night game at Cari Price Memorial Stadium.

Bass Reeves was instrumental in his team's 12-5 triumph over the New Orleans Rougarous. The second baseman was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for the Death Valley Scorpions. Death Valley reliever Pedro Cerano Jr. snagged the win, upping his record to 1-1. Juicy Jumbo shouldered the loss.

Reeves contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Death Valley in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 5-4, Reeves took a fastball from Juicy Jumbo and stroked the home run to left. His 10th home run of the season allowed the Scorpions to leap in front, 7-5.

"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Reeves told the Death Valley Today.

The winning streak has now reached 5 games for Death Valley.
