Skoden Excels, But Pathfinders Win
The Toronto Pathfinders besoiled an otherwise fine performance by San Antonio third baseman Les Skoden by beating the Sloths, 12-8, at The Lodge. Skoden slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice. Biz Kitmaker got credit for the win, improving to 2-8. He allowed 5 runs on 4 hits in 5 innings. The victory makes Toronto 25-47.

Moe Scatoes, who finished 4th in the Legends in RBI with 82 in 2072, took San Antonio hurler Joshua Homme III Esquire Limited deep in the bottom of the first. His 3-run home run put the Pathfinders on top, 3-1. In all, Scatoes had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 5.

Toronto manager was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
