The Nashville Stars beat the Seattle Sea Serpents, 3-2. Nashville pitcher and Blacksburg, Virginia, native Mac John led the way. The winner was John. He threw 6.2 innings allowing 2 runs. The loser was Aria Bluesky. Ultimo Kahn recorded his 3rd save for Nashville.
Nashville used a well-timed hit by Ford Lincoln-Mercury to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Stars ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
Lincoln-Mercury told a Nashville Daily News reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
The victory puts Nashville at 28-45.
