The Providence Crabs had to reckon with Vancouver Vandals hurler Holly Sheet. Sheet, who finished 5th in the Legends in wins with 15 in 2073, overwhelmed the opposition in the 8-0 Vandals triumph. Vancouver has now won 5 straight.

Sheet's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 9 strikeouts in 7 innings while allowing 2 hits. Sheet, who led the Legends in innings pitched with 185.1 in 2074, goes to 10-7 on the year with 114 strikeouts.
