A 4-RBI performance from the top prospect Biff Slamous helped the Detroit Demons beat the San Antonio Sloths, 10-8. Korrin Abernathy Jr., who went 8 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 8 runs on 11 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 7-8.

Slamous contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Detroit in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 2-1, Slamous took a splitter from Mike Boss III and stroked the home run to left-center. His 9th home run of the season allowed the Demons to leap in front, 5-2.

"We'll sip on a cold one and savor this win," said Slamous.

The Demons now have a record of 31-44 with the win over San Antonio.
