Sea Serpents Prevail, 8-6, Over Buffalo
The Seattle Sea Serpents defeated the Buffalo Surge, 8-6, at The Aquadome. Seattle designated hitter Ben Martin had a superb performance. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 2. Seattle goes to 33-43, Buffalo to 36-40.

Jim Hawkins had a big 2-run double for the Sea Serpents in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Seattle leading 4-3 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from fireballing right-hander Elijah Rosado and swatted a double to right. It was his 29th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Sea Serpents ahead, 6-3.

Sea Serpents manager wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
