Stelle Pops Two Homers in 5-2 Win for Death Valley
The Death Valley Scorpions stymied the Vancouver Vandals, 5-2, at Cari Price Memorial Stadium. Stelle had a good day at the plate. He went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 for Death Valley. By defeating Vancouver, the third-place Scorpions improved to 37-40.

Stelle had a timely hit for Death Valley in the bottom of the sixth. With Death Valley trailing 2-1, he turned a 1-1 curveball into a 2-run home run. It was his 18th home run of the season, making it 3-2, Death Valley.

Stelle called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
