Raptors Throttle Rougarous, 5-1
|
Boise rode a good effort from starter Femini Nomenon to beat the New Orleans Rougarous at Hammond Park. The final score was 5-1. Boise is in third place in the Legends Conference West with a record of 41-37.
Ryan Dinger had a big run-scoring double for the Raptors in the bottom of the second inning. With Boise leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a circle change from Brian Eshleman Jr. and swatted a double to left. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Raptors ahead, 2-0.
"I made some pitches when I had to," said Nomenon.
