Cancun pitcher Pedro Martini had a large part in his team subduing the Indianapolis Apex, 4-1. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. The win brings the Toros to 9-2, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

Martini, who leaned on his changeup, allowed 1 run on just 3 hits over 8 innings for the Toros. For the most part, Indianapolis hitters were simply overmatched.
