Crabs Deal Toronto 5-3 Defeat

Providence and Toronto duked it out and the Crabs came out victorious.
Led by Migs Mayfeld, the Providence Crabs defeated the Toronto Pathfinders, 5-3. Mayfeld hit 2 home runs for the Crabs. Joe Random got the win, improving to 2-0. He worked 7 innings, giving up 3 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. Randy Colón recorded his 3rd save for Providence.
Grayle Traveler, who is tied for 2nd in the Legends with a .426 on-base percentage, helped out the Providence cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the left fielder drove in one run.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Traveler.
Providence, now 8-4, has gotten their season off to a good start.
