Ovechkin Wins Legends Top Pitcher Award Tuesday, August 1st , 2062 In July Boise starter Jeronimo Ovechkin mystified Legends Conference hitters and carried off the Pitcher of the Month honors by chalking up a 4-0 record in 4 starts. The 29-year-old Ovechkin added 16 strikeouts in 30 innings and 5 walks to his season record and compiled a 2.40 ERA. Opposing batters hit .235 against him. This year Ovechkin has made 18 starts, thrown 110 innings, fanned 78 batters and walked 34. His won-lost record is 9-3 with a 4.09 ERA. |
