Pitcher Brings in Champions Top Rookie Trophy Tuesday, August 1st , 2062 They are celebrating in Detroit today for two reasons -- pitcher Luther MacIntosh finished a great month with a 4-0 mark and also received the Rookie of the Month award from the Champions Conference. In 5 starts he hurled 28.2 innings, allowed 29 base hits, struck out 16, walked 10, and compiled a fine 4.71 ERA. Teams combined to hit .259 against him in July. In 18 starts this season MacIntosh has compiled a 10-4 record and a 4.99 ERA. |
