Pitcher Ups Hit Streak to 25 Consecutive Games Thursday, May 11th , 2073 A Starting Pitcher, second baseman for the Outer Banks Aviators, ran his consecutive-game hitting streak to 25 games with 2 hits in his club's 9-8 victory over the Vancouver Vandals at The Island. "Not the outcome we wanted," Vancouver manager said. "There's never a good time to lose, and it's never fun to be on the wrong end of somebody else's accomplishment." A Starting Pitcher hit a solo-shot off Andy Beans in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and flied out in the 9th.
