August's Best Legends Hurler is Beans Saturday, September 1st , 2074 Andy Beans will be bringing August's Legends Conference Pitcher of the Month trophy home to Vancouver. He excelled all month long as he kept opposing hitters guessing, reaching and hoping. Beans started 6 games, going 4-0 with 48 strikeouts in 41 innings as he compiled his 1.98 ERA. This season, Beans has a 13-4 mark in 24 starts with a 3.24 ERA. He has given up 127 hits in 155.1 innings, struck out 189 and issued 40 walks.
