Moose Jr. Baffles Outer Banks Batters Wednesday, July 10th , 2075 The Outer Banks Aviators were almost helpless in their 2-0 loss to the New York Voyagers and hurler Joey Moose Jr.. Moose Jr. kept the Aviators confused all game, spinning a 3-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Moose Jr.," Outer Banks manager said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 31-year-old left-hander had 1 walk and 11 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Moose Jr. said.
