McQueen Tops All, Wins Champions Most Valuable Player Award

For fans of the Seattle Sea Serpents, there was certainly no doubting the value of Mejiro McQueen this season.
Now the 31-year-old pitcher has an award to show just how valuable he was, as he's been named the 2076 Champions Conference Most Valuable Player Award winner.
His remarkable campaign saw him put up a 13-8 record. In 27 starts he piled up 187 innings, had 199 strikeouts with 60 walks and a 2.41 ERA. McQueen held opposing hitters to a .213 batting average and compiled a 4.9 WAR.
Xicoyotl Montalbán of the Death Valley Scorpions finished second in voting, while Pass of the Seattle Sea Serpents finished third.
