Indianapolis first baseman Harry Callahan thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Indianapolis to a win, 9-3, over Detroit. "Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Callahan said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run." Callahan, who finished 3rd in the Champions in doubles with 49 in 2074, was 3-for-4 on the day with 6 RBI.
