Champions Player of the Week Named Monday, May 8th , 2079 Not every ball that came off Xicoyotl Montalbán's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Death Valley Scorpions. For his exploits, Montalbán was named this week's Champions Conference Player of the Week award. The Death Valley third baseman put up 8 hits in 21 at-bats and 4 home runs while hitting .381 with 7 RBIs and 6 runs scored. |
