This year's Pitcher of the Year Award winner stood out by running up an impressive 14-4 record, holding opposing hitters to a .218 batting average and posting a 3.06 ERA. The 28-year-old hurler tossed 176.1 innings, gave up 143 hits, fanned 196 and issued 53 walks. Count Crabula of the Providence Crabs finished second in voting, while Warren Peace of the Providence Crabs finished third. |
