Colón Grabs Champions Reliever of the Year Award

Randy Colón was dominant and cool under pressure this year, and his standout performance has earned the Detroit Demons closer recognition as the 2079 Champions Conference Reliever of the Year Award.
"I was just doing my job, and my job is to get people out," said the 30-year-old out of El Paso, Texas.
The award winner made 51 relief appearances this year and had 15 saves. He fanned 92 batters in 92.1 innings, with 24 walks. He pitched to a record of 7 wins and 5 losses to go with his 2.63 ERA.
Zachary Vega III of the Nashville Stars finished second in voting, while Crabtin Crunch Jr. of the Indianapolis Apex finished third.
