Detroit Snaps Bay-Bay Streak at 27 Tuesday, April 30th , 2080 The Detroit Demons did something to Adam-Cole Bay-Bay no team had done for the last 27 games -- they stopped him, ending his consecutive-game hitting streak. Unfortunately, they couldn't do the same to the Voyagers, who came away with the 2-1 victory at Vaughn's House. "Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever," the 28-year-old second baseman said of the demise of his streak. "It was a good ride while it lasted." So far this season, Bay-Bay has put up a .375 batting average with 15 hits, 1 home run and 3 RBIs. |
